Two Juveniles Charged for BB Gun Vandalism Across Manchester

Manchester Police say two juveniles are responsible for the recent BB gun vandalism across town.

In late January, the police department received numerous complaints of property damaged by BB guns. Twelve victims reported damage to either buildings, homes or vehicles, with most of the vandalism on the north half of Manchester. One of the vehicles damaged was actually being driven at the time the shots were fired.

The bedroom window of a witness in an unrelated crime was also damaged by BB gun fire. Police believe that act was intended to intimidate the witness.

And police discovered during the investigation that the BB guns were stolen from a local store.

The names of the two juveniles involved have not been released. They face felony charges of Second Degree Criminal Mischief and Intimidation with a Dangerous Weapon, as well as charges of Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, Tampering with a Witness and Fifth Degree Theft.
