Police Officer Among Two Arrested on Drug Charges at Garber Home

Two people, including a police officer, were arrested at a Garber home on drug charges Friday.

The Clayton County Sheriff’s Office says they were called to a home at 37029 Iowa Avenue for a domestic disturbance. An investigation found that 23-year old Kaitlin Sear assaulted 39-year old Rodger Sear III.

While at the home, deputies discovered marijuana, drug paraphernalia and items used to grow marijuana.

Rodger Sear III, a police officer with the Mar-Mar Police Department, faces a felony charge of manufacturing marijuana, as well as possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Kaitlin Sear faces similar charges, as well as Domestic Abuse Assault.
