HS BOWLING: West Delaware Compete’s in Class 1A State Tournament Today

The 2018 High School Bowling State Tournament starts Monday morning inside Cadillac Lanes in Waterloo.

The West Delaware Girls and Boys teams will take part in the tournament for the second year in a row together. Girls head coach Ken Boesenberg talks about the mindset his squad has:

The Hawk Boys are 1A defending champions. First-year head coach Bob Morris talks about the lessons they learned last year that can help them as well this time around:

The new hosting site for this year only, Cadillac Lanes, is a 36-lane facility. The space and number of lanes will allow the boys and girls team to bowl simultaneously. The State Bowling Meet is a three-day event that begins with the Class 1A Tournament taking place on Monday, Class 2A featuring both Western Dubuque teams will bowl Tuesday, February 20th and the Class 3A State Meet will take place Wednesday, February 21st. Start time for all three meets is 10:00 a.m.
