Local Communities Hosting Easter Egg Hunts

Several local communities will be hosting Easter Egg Hunts this weekend.

Manchester’s Easter Egg Hunt hosted by GNB Bank will take place Saturday at 10 am at the Delaware County Rec Center.

The Penn Center near Delhi will host their annual Easter Celebration on Saturday morning from 10 to noon. They’ll have kids’ games, crafts, bunnies and an Easter Egg hunt. The day is sponsored by the Penn Center, Hermann’s Hybrids and the Nifty Needlers and Outdoor Adventure 4-H clubs.

Edgewood will celebrate Easter with their annual party at the Edgewood Convalescent Home on Saturday from 10 to 11 am. The Easter Egg Hunt will begin around 10:40 am and the Easter Bunny will be there for photos.

The Earlville Community Club’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held Saturday at 1 pm at the swimming pool. Kids up through 5th grade are invited.

And the Dyersville Commercial Club will host their annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday at 1 pm at Commercial Club Park. It’s open to three age groups – 1 to 3 years old, 4 to 6 years old and 7 to 9 years old. And the hunt will have several golden eggs… if you find one, you win a special prize! The Easter Bunny will also be there and available for photos. In case of bad weather, the festivities will be moved to the pavilion.
