Fire Breaks Out at Rural Delhi Farm

A fire broke out at a farm between Delhi and Hopkinton late Tuesday night.

Firefighters were called to Larry Shover’s property at 2403 Omega Road around 10 pm.

Hopkinton Fire Chief Greg Kemp tells KMCH the fire started in a shop building/machine shed. He says windy conditions ignited two other barns.

Kemp says all the livestock was saved.

Authorities don’t know what caused the fire.

Fire departments from Hopkinton, Delhi, Ryan and Delaware responded to the call and spent about six hours at the scene.
