Several High School Golf meets took place this past Friday and Saturday in the KMCH coverage area.
On Friday afternoon-
The Ed-Co Girls and Boys traveled to Meadowview Golf Course near Central City and faced the host Wildcats and Bellevue Marquette.
Central City won the team race over Ed-Co, 197-215, Marquette only had two golfers. Central City’s Madi Fleming was the medalist with a 46. 2nd was Maddy Streicher of Ed-Co with a 47, the Vikings Jenna Ries shot a 56, Lexi Ihde 60, 52 for Rose Heuchelin, 71 for Kirstyn Payne and a 66 for Maci Pritchard.
The Ed-Co Boys won their team race with a 184 as the Mohawks and Wildcats did not have enough golfers to field complete teams. The Vikings Ethan Streicher was the medalist with a 38. 3rd was Alex Jones with a 45, 47 for 4th place by Cory Kloser, Ben Ernst shot a 54, 62 for Kody Hoeger and Calvin Heims.
The Beckman Boys hosted Monticello Friday afternoon at the Dyersville Country Club. The Blazers won the meet with a 167 to Monticello’s 176. Beckman’s Brent Their was the medalist with a 38. second place went to Nash Sutterman of Monti and Beckman’s James Engler.
Also for Beckman: Justin Wessel a 43, Shawn Deutmeyer 50, 44 for Josh Engler and a 47 for Sean Heinrichson.
Other scores for Monticello: 44 for Justin Recker, 45 for Kegan Arduser and Connor Lambert, 47 for Bo Kramer and 49 for Kirklen Kiburz.
The West Delaware Boys hosted their annual invite at the Pin Oak Course near Manchester. Benton Community won the 10-team meet with a 324. West Delaware’s A squad placed 2nd with 350. Independence was 3rd with 355, West Delaware’s B team was 7th with a 376. Benton’s Spencer Touro and Ben Parmenter were the medalist with a 78. Third was WD’s Tyler Langel with a 82.

A team= Brandon Larsen 87, Drew Wubbena 89 and Ryan Fangman a 92.
B team= Gavin Soppe 84, Clayton Haight 92, 99 for Gavin Tucker and Spncer Kluesner shot a 101.
