The Dyersville Chamber will host a free “Fix It Day” this Friday.
Local residents are invited to bring in broken household items or office items to be repaired by volunteers. This year’s volunteers include general handyman Ralph Weber and electronics experts Sean Held and Tony Zurcher.
This is the second year for the event, with the goal to keep items out of the landfill. It’s free – but if a replacement part is needed, there will be cost.
Friday’s “Fix It Day” runs from 4 to 7 pm at the Stone Creek Plaza in the former Imperial Stone building.
