Delaware County ISU Extension and Outreach is hosting several summer day camps this summer for kids.
The first day camp will be June 1st at Bailey’s Ford Park in Manchester for kids in grades kindergarten through 3rd grade. It’s called “Growing Up Wild” and will allow kids to explore nature.
On June 5th, kids in grades four through eight are invited to attend “The Building Blocks of Entrepreneurship” at the Extension Office. They can dive into the world of entrepreneurship with Legos.
Kids in grades kindergarten through 3rd grade are invited to attend Fun with Bots at Seibert Park in Manchester on June 12th. Meet two robots and interact with these two characters with five different apps.
The Art Explosion day camp will be June 19th at Seibert Park in Manchester for kids in grades kindergarten through 3rd grade. Kids will discover their creative side by exploring the five elements of design through experiments with color, homemade playdough, sponge painting, mosaics and more.
And the final summer day camp will be the Engineering Design Process on June 26th at Seibert Park for kids in grades three through five. Kids will explore the world of engineering by building a road, protecting structures and more.
These day camps run from 9 am to 3 pm and the cost is $15 per day camp. Registration is due one week before the camp. You can sign up online through the Extension’s website or stop by the Extension Office in Manchester for a registration form.
