Area meetings today include…
The Delaware County Board of Supervisors, who will meet at 1:15 pm. The board will discuss and possibly take action on electrical upgrades in the courthouse, as well as courthouse elevator upgrades. They’ll also consider approving plans for the 195th Street Bridge Project.
The Manchester City Council meets tonight at 5 pm. The Council will hold public hearings on the sale of the east half of the alley between Madison and Tama Street and Main and Delaware Street. The property is proposed to be sold to Community Savings Bank for their new facility. They’ll also hold a public hearing on the proposed sale of excess City property along River Street to Randy Hahn. And they’ll hold a public hearing on the proposed sale of City property on South 7th Street lying south of West Jasper Street and north of the existing railroad right-of-way to Frank Sailer of Sailer Properties LLC. Bids will also be reviewed for the Riverfront Phase One Project.
The West Delaware School Board also meets tonight at 6 pm. The School Board will hold a public hearing on drawings, specifications and cost estimate for the chemistry lab remodel. The Board will also consider bids for roof repair at Lambert, window replacement at the Middle School and fence replacement at Brown Field.
And other meetings tonight include the Cascade City Council meeting at 6 pm and the Edgewood City Council meeting at 7 pm.
