HS SOFTBALL/BASEBALL: Season Gameplay Begins Today

The High School Summer Sports season begins tonight around the state, with it our sports broadcast season commences with West Delaware Softball as the Hawks travel to Waterloo, facing the Sailors of Columbus Catholic. The Hawks were 27-15 last season with a regional semifinal loss to Crestwood finishing ranked 15th in Class 3A. The Sailors were 35-7 and 7th place in 2A ranked 5th. The Hawks won the two teams non-conference only meeting last season 4-0 at Sill Field on their opening night May 23rd. The JV/Varsity doubleheader begins at 6pm. All the coverage can be heard live on KMCH and KMCH.com around 7:15 with Sports Director Jon Swisher and Jamie Vaske.
