Regional Medical Center in Manchester is continuing to change and expand under new leadership. After meeting with employees and those close to the hospital, CEO Charlie Button has spent the past several weeks reaching out to the public by hosting meetings in local communities. And he says your wants and needs are being heard.
Three-point-two million dollars… that’s what RMC is planning to spend in their capital budget next fiscal year. And half of that amount will be spent on an in-house MRI.
Right now at RMC, the Emergency/Surgery lobby and registration area is currently undergoing some remodeling – and there will be some changes coming to other spaces in the hospital as well.
And another change is coming this fall when RMC’s walk-in clinic hours will be expanding to include Sundays.
Regional Medical Center is also looking into implementing an electronic health record for their entire operation, and they’re actively recruiting for new specialists, including a full-time orthopedic surgeon and a full-time OBGYN physician.
Button welcomes any feedback you may have about RMC – he says he is always available to talk if you have any questions or concerns.
