The Delaware County Board of Supervisors met on Monday afternoon.
The Board approved hiring Mary Loeffelholz as a full-time jailer in the Sheriff’s Office to fill a recent retirement. Loeffelholz will begin July 2nd with a starting wage of 15-73 per hour.
The Board also approved a contract with Delaware County Public Health for the upcoming fiscal year in the amount of about 131-thousand dollars.
The Supervisors approved a Memorandum of Understanding with Regional Medical Center to give County Public Health permission to operate out of the courthouse in case of an emergency that affects them, such as a tornado or disease outbreak.
The Board appointed Lisa Guetzko and Kevin Klostermann to the County Planning Commission. Several more spots on County boards and commissions will need to be filled by July 1st.
The County approved a contract with Kam Line for edgeline pavement markings in the amount of nearly 93-thousand dollars.
And the Supervisors approved a temporary amendment to the outdoor service area at Smokey’s Grill at Lake Delhi, allowing for a temporary enlargement to the beer garden for an upcoming water ski show.
