Free Summer Meals for Kids at Several Local Locations

Free meals are available for kids and teens this summer through the West Delaware Summer Food Program.

The district is opening up the Lambert Elementary Commons in Manchester each weekday for breakfast and lunch. Breakfast is served at 8 am, with lunch served at 11:30 am.

Any child 18 years old and younger can get a free meal. There is no cost and no enrollment.

The free meals run through August 10th. Meals will be served every week, except the week of July 4th.

This USDA program is also offering free meals for kids this summer at the James Kennedy Public Library in Dyersville, Anamosa Middle School and at Monticello Middle School and Shannon Elementary in Monticello.
