Several area communities will be celebrating Independence Day with Dyersville kicking things off tonight (July 3rd). Festivities will start at Commercial Club Park at 5pm with fireworks at approximately 10pm.
Tomorrow (July 4th) in Central City, a parade will be held at 10 a.m. with fireworks at dusk.
Independence will have a parade starting at 9am, live music through out the day and then fireworks over the Wapsipinicon River at 10pm
Monticello’s parade will start at 11 a.m. with fireworks at dusk at the Jones County Fairgrounds.
Earlville’s parade is Wednesday at 4pm and the night in Earlville will culminate with fireworks at about 9:45.
Be sure to bring your radio with you as you watch the fireworks Wednesday night as we will have some “music to watch the fireworks by” starting at 9:30 here on KMCH.
