One person was injured in a collision in Delaware County Thursday morning.
The Sheriff’s Office says it happened a few miles west of Dyersville at the intersection of Highway 20 and X-47. A southbound minivan was coming off of X-47 and crossing Highway 20 to turn left when a westbound motorcycle on Highway 20 collided with the minivan.
The driver of the motorcycle, 24-year old Dustin Hermsen of Farley, was transported to a Dubuque hospital with what authorities believed were minor injuries.
The driver of the van, 70-year old Bill Scanlan of Manchester, was not hurt.
Scanlan was charged with failing to yield, while Hermsen was cited for not having a valid drivers license.
