A bicyclist was taken to the hospital after he was hit by a car in Manchester on Monday.
Manchester Police say the accident happened around 10:30 am in front of a home at 115 East Acers Street.
The driver of the car, 16-year old Chad Bishop of Manchester, told police that he was pulling out of his driveway, attempting to turn west onto East Acres Street, when he heard yelling and saw a man on his bike. The bicyclist, 53-year old Ricky Bristow of Manchester, was knocked to the ground. Bishop told police he looked both ways before pulling out of his driveway and never saw Bristow on the bike.
Bristow suffered minor injuries and was transported to Regional Medical Center in Manchester.
Bishop was not hurt.
