Library Program Focusing on Downtown Dyersville’s History

You’ll have a chance to learn about downtown Dyersville’s history during a special program tonight.

The James Kennedy Public Library will host local historian Judy Weber, who will show photos and talk about the history of the downtown Dyersville businesses and the buildings that housed them. Everyone’s invited to come learn about the buildings and businesses located on the north side of First Avenue and the area where founder James Dyer built his mill on the Maquoketa River.

The Dyersville Area Historical Society is co-sponsoring tonight’s program, which begins at 6:30 pm.

This program will be repeated on Friday at 2 pm and again Saturday at 10 am.
