Busy Weekend in Manchester – Cruise, Bacon ‘n Hops & More

This is a busy weekend in Manchester, with Bacon ‘n Hops, the Motorcycle Trials and the Country Cruisers car cruise and car show.

Chamber Director Jessica Pape says everyone is welcome downtown Saturday night for Bacon ‘n Hops, with some wineries added this year’s event.

Tickets for Bacon ‘n Hops cost $25 at the gate or you can pay just $5 to get in for the live music from 6 to 10 pm.

Also on Saturday in Manchester, the Motorcycle Trials are back. Chris Halverson says this is their second year competing at the Whitewater Park.

The Motorcycle Trials start at 11 am Saturday and there is no charge to watch.

And of course, it’s cruise weekend… with lots of classic, new and unique vehicles gathering Saturday afternoon at EZ Pickins in Manchester.

That’s Country Cruisers car club member Dennis Wiedenmann, who says they’ll cruise through portions of eastern and southern Delaware County this year, with the cruise taking its usual route through Manchester on North Franklin.

Cruise weekend wraps up Sunday with the car show at the Delaware County Fairgrounds in Manchester. Registration runs from 8 am to noon, with judging at noon and awards at 3 pm. There will also be a large craft show with over two dozen vendors, kids’ activities and a raffle drawing at Sunday’s event.
