The Delaware County Board of Supervisors met Monday afternoon.
The Board received an annual report from Delma Hardin with Delaware County Public Health.
A bid for LP fuel was approved for Secondary Roads and Conservation through Tri-County Propane of Monticello at $1.08 per gallon for a total of about $24,000.
The County also awarded bids for two pick-up trucks for the Secondary Roads Department to Runde Auto of about $54,000. The trucks will replace one truck that was in an accident and an older truck that will go on auction.
And road and bridge projects continue around Delaware County… River City Paving is continuing their paving operations on X-47 this week, with the road reduced to one lane in the work zone area. On the 245th Avenue Bridge Project, Schroeder Construction is decking in preparation for the concrete deck pour. And crews are working on the Turtle Creek Road – clearing trees and doing some light grading of the road to improve drainage.
