Hundreds of cars made their way through Delaware County on Saturday night as part of the 26th Annual Country Cruisers Car Cruise.
From classic to brand new and everything in between, there were all kinds of cars hitting the road and for all kinds of reasons. Sean Dailey of Manchester was driving a 1954 Chevy two-ton custom.
Sherilyn Cook of Manchester was on the cruise for the first time with her husband in their 2013 Mustang convertible.
Troy Henley drove up from Cedar Rapids – he was back for the cruise for the second year in a row with his 2013 Camaro SS Convertible.
One of Henley’s fellow club members was ready to hit the road in his ride…
Some of these cruisers put months and years of hard work into the vehicles they’re driving. Steve Dennis made the trip up from Richland, Iowa – over a hundred miles away – with his ’31 Model A pickup.
And for some, it’s all about living out a lifelong dream… like Gary Hoffman of Anamosa with his 1968 Roadrunner.
This year’s cruise traveled through Manchester, Oneida, Earlville, Delaware, Delhi, Hopkinton, Lake Delhi and Buck Creek before returning back to Manchester. Around 300 cars were counted going past Lake Delhi, with more vehicles joining in and dropping out along the route.
