The West Delaware School Board met Monday night.
The Board has approved a contract with NICC for the upcoming school year. Superintendent Dr. Kristen Rickey says they appreciate the partnership with NICC to offer students concurrent enrollment credit, which means they can earn high school credit and college credit at the same time while they’re in high school.
The West Delaware School Board also approved a project that the Athletic Booster Club has planned.
Several staff changes at West Delaware were also approved at Monday’s meeting. Resignations include Helen Heyer as Food Service employee and Mike Noonan as a sub van driver. And hires include Emily Nurre as a Middle School Special Education Associate, Katie Mozingo as a High School Special Education Associate, Rich McMahon as Middle School Cross Country Coach, Dawn Recker as a payroll specialist, Michael Cantonwine as a van driver and Denise Wohlers as Substitute Bus Driver.
