Road work on Highway 20 between Manchester and Delaware has wrapped up.
Crews had been working on a bridge deck overlay in both the westbound and eastbound lanes since the beginning of April. Traffic had been reduced to one lane through the work area for the past four and a half months.
The project involved adding two inches to the surface of the bridge and replacing the bridge approach pavement on either end. The guardrail leading up to the bridge was also replaced.
The DOT says if crews have to come back, it would just be to re-seed some grass that did not grow, which would not require a lane closure.
