A new Manchester city councilmember was sworn in Monday night.
Tania Bradley is filling the remainder of the At-Large term left vacant by Connie Behnken, who resigned last month. Bradley will serve in the position through the end of 2019.
Bradley was one of eight people who expressed interest in the position – and the first one to apply.
Bradley is a 1996 Maquoketa Valley grad who has lived in Manchester off and on for the past twenty years. Mayor Milt Kramer says after visiting with those who knew her, it was an easy decision to appoint her to the open position.
Bradley’s first official council meeting was Monday night.
