HS VOLLEYBALL: Weekend Recap

The Class 4A 11th-ranked West Delaware Hawks finished second to Class 2A No. 1 Grundy Center on Saturday in Parkersburg at the annual Aplington-Parkersburg Invitational. The Hawks improved their record to 12-5 as they went 4-1 on the day, beating Denver, Nashua-Plainfield, Aplington-Parkersburg and Wapsie Valley all 2-0 while losing to the Spartans 2-1. WD returns to play Tuesday night at the Marion Quad, facing Monticello and Center Point-Urbana. All the coverage live from KMCH Sports beginning around 6pm.
