Four teenagers were injured in an accident near Hopkinton on Wednesday morning.
It happened on Pioneer Road shortly before 7:30 am.
The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office says 15-year old Bryan Wilson of Manchester was driving his Jeep southbound on the gravel road when he swerved to miss a deer. He lost control, with his Jeep rolling one time and landing on all four wheels.
Three passengers were riding with Wilson – 15-year old James DeMoss of Manchester, 16-year old Alec Stogdill of Manchester and 15-year old Dillon Lane of Delhi.
The Sheriff’s Office says the two rear-seat passengers, Stogdill and Lane, were not wearing their seatbelts and were ejected when the Jeep rolled. Authorities say the Jeep had a soft-top roof.
Stogdill and Lane were transported by ambulance to Regional Medical Center in Manchester with what authorities say were suspected serious/incapacitating injuries. Wilson and DeMoss suffered what authorities describe as minor/non-incapacitating injuries and also transported to RMC.
Wilson has been cited for violating his minors’ school license.
