Dyersville Police made a drug bust on Highway 20 early Wednesday morning.
Police say they pulled over a vehicle for a defective muffler and speeding. Officers were able to see a burnt marijuana cigarette inside the vehicle, which was confirmed through an open air K-9 sniff.
After searching the vehicle, police also found about two pounds of marijuana, about two grams of methamphetamine, a meth pipe with burnt residue and over eight-thousand dollars in cash.
The driver, 35-year old Nicholas Bradley of Humboldt, and the passenger, 36-year old Ian Stevenson of Goldfield, were arrested and taken to the Delaware County Jail. They face charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver, Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth) Second Offense and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
