Good Neighbor Society Hosting Festival of Trees

The Good Neighbor Society in Manchester is hosting its Festival of Trees event this weekend.

And it’s at a new location this year.

That’s Kali Meeker, who along with Jessie Tibbott, encourages everyone to join them Saturday and Sunday for some fun holiday festivities.

This year’s theme is “Gnome for the Holidays” and you’ll even have a chance to create a gnome painting on Sunday during “Canvas Creation”, their newest addition to the Festival of Trees.

The puppets are back this year on Saturday at 11 am, the holiday store will have a new look, you can pick up treats at the bake sale, and Santa and Mrs. Claus will visit with everyone both days from 11 to 2.

And Joan Brunsman says the weekend actually kicks off tonight with Dueling Pianos at the Delaware County Fairgrounds Pavilion.

Tickets for Dueling Pianos are $40 each and available by calling the Good Neighbor Society at 927-3907.

The money raised at this weekend’s Festival of Trees will help pay for new dining tables and chairs at the Good Neighbor Home.
