The construction of a new Delaware County Sheriff’s Office and Jail will be the main topic of discussion at today’s Delaware County Board of Supervisors meeting.
The Board will hear a presentation on the proposed construction from Midwest Construction Consultants and could take possible action on the issue.
The Supervisors will also consider and take possible action on this winter’s snowmobile routes proposed by the Snow Pioneers, and they’ll discuss and consider a steel toe show policy for county workers.
The Delaware County Supervisors meet today at 1:15 pm.
The Manchester City Council meets tonight at 5 pm. They’ll discuss design and financing for a new city shop. They’ll also hear an update from the Manchester Good to Great Trails Committee on a potential nature trail and they’ll review bids for city sidewalk and nuisance snow removal.
Other area meetings tonight include the Maquoketa Valley School Board at 5:30 pm, the Monticello School Board at 6 pm and the Cascade City Council at 6 pm.
