The Delaware County Board of Supervisors met Monday.
The Board approved spending $8,000 for architect services for a possible new jail and Sheriff’s Office, contigent upon the approval of the County Attorney. Rick Weidner will draw up a floor plan, site drawings and evaluations. More details coming up in this week’s KMCH Local News.
The County also discussed options for adding a steel-toe shoe policy for county workers. Suggestions will be taken to the county attorney, with a vote expected at a future meeting.
This winter’s snowmobile routes proposed by the Snow Pioneers was also approved.
