The Maquoketa Valley School Board met for their regular meeting this week.
The Board approved the Voluntary Early Separation for 2018-2019, with a separation package of nearly 55-thousand dollars for both certified staff and classified salaried staff and nearly 22-thousand dollars for classified hourly staff. The funds will be paid out in three equal installments, with the first installment scheduled for August.
The MV School Board also approved a contract with Fusion Forward, a marketing and branding company. Fusion Forward will help promote the school district via social media, redesign their district website, help create a promotional video and help with materials for Maquoketa Valley’s upcoming PPEL vote.
And the Board approved several staff changes, including Chris Evers’ resignation as Varsity Head Football Coach and Raechel Krogmann’s resignation as a preschool teacher.
