Iowa dairy producers have the opportunity to learn about emerging dairy industry issues during 2019 Dairy Days events hosted by Iowa State University Extension and Outreach specialists.
The program is scheduled at seven eastern Iowa locations between Jan. 21 and Feb. 7. Delaware County will host an event on February 7th at River Valley Coop in Ryan.
At this year’s program, producers will learn about early crop scouting, silage inoculants, robotic milking, successful calf hygiene, heifer economics, better farm management tools, research updates, and more.
Check in starts at 9:30 a.m. and the program will conclude by 2:30 p.m. Thanks to the Ryan Veterinary Service, the registration fee of $15 will be waived. Dairy Days will also be offered in the area on Jan. 22 in Fayette and Feb. 6 in Holy Cross.
