The Delaware County Board of Supervisors gathered for their first meeting of the new year on Wednesday.
Supervisor Shirley Helmrichs heads into 2019 as this year’s Board Chairperson.
Supervisor Pete Buschmann says he’s looking forward to the County accomplishing a couple of goals this year, including moving into the current Community Savings Bank building in Manchester.
Supervisor Jeff Madlom feels Delaware County is in good shape right now, and he’s hoping to move ahead with a new jail facility as well.
Delaware County’s newly-elected officials were also sworn in prior to the meeting Wednesday, including Supervisor Shirley Helmrichs, Treasurer Pam Klein, Recorder Daneen Schindler and Attorney John Bernau.
