State Representative Lee Hein is preparing for his return to Des Moines.
The 2019 Legislative Session is set to get underway on Monday and Hein will be starting his fifth term after winning election over Reenie Montgomery in November.
Hein, a Republican who farms in the Monticello area, represents Iowa’s 96th District, which includes Manchester, Monticello and Anamosa. And he’s looking forward to getting business done.
Hein says he also hopes to be able to solve some issues with school transportation funding.
You’ll have an opportunity to hear from Representative Hein throughout the legislative session here on KMCH – listen in each Friday during the noon hour for our usual legislative updates. And mark your calendars for Friday, February 8th for the first Legislative Coffee of the year at the Delaware County Farm Bureau office in Manchester.
