The National Weather Service is holding weather spotter training classes around the area.
These classes give you a chance to learn more about severe weather, with the option to help the National Weather Service collect local information about the weather happening where you live.
A spotter training class will be held in Manchester on Tuesday, February 26th at 6:30 pm at the Manchester Fire Station.
Edgewood will also host a class on Thursday, March 14th at 7 pm at the fire station.
And classes will also be held in Marion on Saturday, March 2nd at 1 pm and in Dubuque on Tuesday, March 26th at 6:30 pm.
The two-hour classes are free and open to the public. There is no need to pre-register.
