Milk Truck Crashes on X-47 in Foggy Conditions

Crews temporarily shut down a portion of X-47 South on Tuesday morning to pull part of a milk truck out of the ditch.

The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office says the milk truck was northbound on Sunday in the fog when it swerved to avoid a semi that was turning into a driveway. The semi went into the ditch.

The truck was towed from the scene, but authorities say the milk tank on the rear of the truck broke off and came to rest in the ditch.

The driver, 27-year old Alexander Groesbeck of Luxemburg, was not hurt.

No citations were issued.
