Local schools have missed an abnormal amount of days over the past month due to the extreme winter weather – and now they’re trying to figure out how to make that time up.
The West Delaware School Board discussed the issue at their meeting on Monday night.
Superintendent Dr. Kristen Rickey says they have several options to make up those missed school days.
The West Delaware School Board also discussed next year’s school calendar on Monday night, but they decided to wait until March to hold a public hearing on it because there is one important question they want to consider.
Next month’s West Delaware School Board meeting will be held March 11th.
