February is National Heart Month.
One in every four deaths in the U.S. is due to heart disease. So Jane Dzaboff, Cardiac Rehab Clinical Specialist at Regional Medical Center, says it’s important for everyone to recognize the symptoms of a heart attack.
Dzaboff says there is something you can do to lessen your risk of a heart attack – and that’s exercise.
She says stress can also contribute to heart disease, so it can help to take a moment out of each day for meditation, yoga or deep breathing.
