Manchester Police have released information about a four-month narcotics investigation.
With the assistance of a cooperating individual, police made two controlled purchases of cocaine from a subject in Manchester late last year. That resulted in a search warrant being served at 1505 North Franklin Street Apartment 3 last October. A second search warrant was served at the same address on December 23rd. Evidence gathered from these search warrants led to the arrest of 43-year old Antonio Robertson and 52-year old Brian Johnson, both of Manchester, who were both charged with possession of a controlled substance/intent to deliver cocaine.
The results of the investigation and evidence gathered at the search warrants prompted Manchester Police to contact the federal prosecutor in Cedar Rapids. The case was taken under advisement and resulted in an indictment on federal narcotics violations.
Antonio Robertson was arrested a second time and charged with two counts of distributing cocaine.
The matter is still under investigation by Manchester Police.
