An Earlville man accused of killing his wife appeared in court in Delaware County on Tuesday.
Todd Mullis is charged with first degree murder in the death of his wife, Amy, last November. She was found stabbed in the back with a corn rake on their family farm.
Mullis’ attorneys have requested that his bond be reduced from five million dollars to one million dollars. At Tuesday’s hearing, Judge Thomas Bitter says he anticipates making a decision this week.
His attorneys say Mullis would wear a GPS tracking device if his bond is reduced.
Mullis’ trial is set to begin May 13th.
