A grand opening was held at Manchester’s new hotel on Thursday afternoon.
Boulders Inn & Suites opened in early March on the southwest edge of Manchester. It sits in high-profile spot in the Spiegel subdivision right off the Highway 20/Highway 13 interchange.
That’s general manager Kelly Niles of Manchester. She says the new two-story hotel offers a variety of rooms, as well as several amenities.
Hotel rates vary depending on occupancy and season, but a standard double queen room ranges from 89 to 119 dollars. The hotel has brought several new jobs to the area, with four front desk staff and three housekeepers. And they’ve been keeping busy, with the hotel already completely booked for several weekends this summer.
Manchester has two other hotels, but some visitors wanting higher quality accommodations have gone down the road to stay at hotels in nearby towns. Delaware County Economic Development Director Donna Boss and Delaware County Tourism Director Caryssa O’Connell says the addition of this hotel fills a need and will be a big benefit to Manchester and the surrounding area.
