Judge Denies Mullis’ Request to Reduce Bond

An Earlville man accused of killing his wife will remain in jail on five million dollars bond.

On Friday, Judge Thomas Bitter denied Todd Mullis’ request to reduce his bond to one million dollars. The request was made earlier this week during a bond hearing in Delaware County District Court. His bond remains at five million dollars cash only.

Mullis is charged with first degree murder in the death of his wife, Amy, last November. She was found stabbed in the back with a corn rake on their family farm.

Mullis’ trial is still set to begin May 13th, with a pre-trial on May 3rd.
