The Board awarded a couple of bids for equipment. The first bid, for a tandem dump truck, was awarded to Gator for approximately 122-thousand dollars. The second bid, for snowplow equipment for the truck, was awarded to Henderson Manufacturing for approximately 99-thousand dollars.
The bid for 228 miles of centerline pavement markings in the county will be awarded at the Supervisors’ next meeting on Monday at 9:30 am.
The County has also proclaimed May as Community Action Month as requested by Operation New View, a public non-profit organization that has served children and families in Delaware, Dubuque and Jackson counties since 1975.
