Officer Injured and Three Arrested in Manchester Drug Search

One officer was injured and three people were arrested during a drug search in Manchester on Sunday.

Manchester Police say they served a search warrant at 308 East Marion Street, with assistance from the Manchester K-9 Unit and Delaware County Sheriff’s Office. Officers seized illegal narcotics, drug paraphernalia and a shotgun.

Manchester Police Officer Brad Comer suffered an injury to his hand while he was trying to enter the home. One of the suspects had attempted to slam the door shut on him while fleeing/hiding from authorities.

Three people have been taken into custody – 20-year old Derrick Wilson of Manchester, 22-year old Brooklyn Brandenburg of Hopkinton and 20-year old Walter Rocker of Manchester.

Wilson is charged with Assault on a Peace Officer and Interference with Official Acts. Brandenburg faces charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. And Rocker faces a felony charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana) with Intent to Deliver, as well as charges of possessing a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia and Interference with Official Acts.
