Trial has been pushed back for an Earlville man accused of killing his wife.
Todd Mullis’ trial was set to start May 13th, but has now been rescheduled for August.
Mullis is charged with First Degree Murder in the death of his wife, Amy, last November. She died from wounds caused by a corn rake on their family farm.
He is being held in jail on five million dollars cash only bond.
Delaware County Attorney John Bernau says the judge waived Mullis’ right to a speedy trial on Wednesday. Pre-trial has now been set for July 2nd, with a jury trial scheduled for August 19th.
His attorneys have not filed for a motion for change of venue, so the trial is still scheduled to be held in Delaware County.
