Regional Medical Center in Manchester is participating in National Stop the Bleed Day on Thursday.
Stop the Bleed encourages bystanders to become trained, equipped and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives. The goal is to save lives by training people across the country how to stop traumatic bleeding.
In honor of National Stop the Bleed Day, RMC is holding a hands-on open house training event this Thursday from 11 to 3 in the hospital’s River Ridge Pavilion. Emergency services staff will provide demonstrations on how to stop traumatic bleeding.
The event is free and open to the public.
