Free Tuesday Afternoon Movies All Summer at Castle Theatre

Castle Theatre in Manchester is offering a free movie showing every Tuesday afternoon this summer.

Manager Kristy Davis says they tried it for a few weeks last year and have decided to extend it to the entire summer this year.

The movies start at 2 pm each Tuesday, with doors opening at 1:30 pm. It is free admission – first-come, first-serve. And concessions will be open too. And it all kicked off today.

The free summer movies will run through August 13th. It’s been a busy few weeks for Castle Theatre – over 11-hundred moviegoers showed up over a two-week period for the highly-anticipated showing of Avengers: Endgame. The West Delaware 7th graders even got a chance to see the movie this past Friday to wrap up the school year. And Davis says they’ve got more great movies lined up for the summer – you can check out the schedule online at castletheatremanchester.org.

And if you don’t make it out to the free summer movie each Tuesday afternoon, you can always catch a movie on Tuesday nights at 7 pm for just two dollars.
