HS BASEBALL/SOFTBALL: Results from Thursday Night

The West Delaware Baseball team’s record sits at 5-5 after a doubleheader split with South Tama at home last night.    In game one, the Hawks won 6-2 and in the nightcap as they were led by a 3-run homer from Ben Ridenour. South Tama won the second game 13-7.  Logan Woellert was the losing pitcher giving up 9 runs in 4 innings on 8 hits, 5 walks, 1 hit batter and 4 Hawk errors. Sam Loecke drove in 2 runs to lead the Hawks who could only tally 6 hits.
