The Manchester City Council met Monday night.
The Council held a public hearing on a 25-year lease agreement with Riverside Property Group, LLC for property along the vacated alley right-of-way adjacent to 121 South Franklin Street. No one spoke for or against the agreement, with the Council giving their approval.
The Council also approved the third and final reading on the rezoning of 115 East Union Street, giving permission for the lot to go from R1-70 Single Family Low Density to R-4 Multi-Family Residential Medium Density.
The Manchester City Council also approved a loan agreement with F&M Bank to provide for the issuance of a 120-thousand dollar General Obligation Vehicle Acquisition for several new city vehicles.
A contract for a slurry seal project at the Manchester Municipal Airport was also approved, as well as the replacement of several city computers.
