The West Delaware Hawks Baseball team is now 7-10-1 after a split last night in Independence. The Mustangs won game one 6-5 in the bottom of the 7th inning inning on a walk-off hit by Teegan McEnany. It was the first win for Independence against West Delaware in varsity baseball since 2003. The Hawks rebounded in the 2nd game with a 7-3 victory with solid pitching by Freshmen Kyle Cole and Robert Reeder who earned the win and save respectively.
The Hawks will have one more game this week tonight as they travel to Lisbon for a JV/Vars dh at 5:30.
