The Delaware County Fair kicks off a week from today.
After celebrating its big 150th anniversary milestone last year, the fair is kicking off its next 150 with a few changes.
The concert nights have changed – Country Night with Neal McCoy and the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band will be Friday night, July 12th and VIP Night with Starship and The Georgia Satellites will be Saturday night, July 13th.
The Truck and Tractor Pull has been moved to Thursday night, July 11th.
There’s a new carnival – still free with your paid fair admission.
And for first time in many years, there will be no fireworks this year – after the parade Monday night nor after the concerts Friday and Saturday.
Some new additions this year, too – including free inflatables Monday night starting at 5:30 pm, Amateur Tough Truck Races on Tuesday and Enduro Cross on Wednesday, The Dweebs performing on Thursday night on the Festival Stage, Dr. Temple Grandin speaking on Thursday night and a Fog Maze all week sponsored by the Feargrounds.
Today is the last day to get a fair season book for $36.
